Following government decisions,the Covid pass is required for all persons over 12 years and 2 months. No advanced booking is necessary.

The château is open to the public from mid-February to mid-November, all day long.

From 15th February to 31st March: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
From 1st April to 30th September: 10.00 am – 7.00 pm
From 1st October to 8th November: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
Last admissions 1hour before closing.

No guided tours

Information sheets are provided in English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Children and young visitors to Sleeping Beauty’s castle can discover the story by taking part in the treasure hunt, “From Tales to Fairy Tales”! Get right to the heart of the story by solving clues left around the château by Charles Perrault.
And of course, see the evil fairy Carabosse, Prince Charming and Princess Aurora in the dungeon!

ANIMALS :

Our four legged friends are welcome in all parts of the château that are open to the public (inside and outside).

ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED

It is possible to reach the Château by car for disabled visitors.

CATERING

There are no catering facilities within the grounds of the château but there is a hotel/restaurant, the Clos d’Ussé about 80 metres away. Alternatively it is possible to picnic in the parking area. Afterwards, you can continue your visit by showing your entry tickets.
